Located on the corner of Mărășești Street and General Eremia Grigorescu Street, the two-storey eclectic house dates back to the first half of the 19th century. The building occupies the whole plot, having two facades to the street and a small stylish interior courtyard with a beautiful lilac tree.
The facades display an Eclectic decoration, with Classical and Neo-Baroque elements: a profiled cornice with decorative consoles intertwined with a row of dentils and a lower row of egg and darts, the pediments of window surrounds ending in a flattened arch on the corner and shaped as a triangle for the rest of the building, the corner slightly jutting out and marked by an attic. On the corner we can see as well Corinthian pilasters and panels with balusters. The building hosted for a while the Vocational School for the ages 11 to 14. Today, the building hosts some of the most popular bars in town.
