The Ignacz Heymann Palace and Anheuer House got their construction permit and were finalized in the same time, but they presented completely opposite plastic expressions.

The Anheuer House, in Secession/Art Nouveau style, was very modern for its time. The Ignacz Heymann, on the other hand, due to its neobaroque decorations, was considered ‘anachronic’.
